BLACKBURNE JACKSON DESIGN HAS RELOCATED

The office of Blackburne Jackson Design has been relocated to 37 Aerodrome Road Maroochydore.

Planning of the refurbishment was based around a large, light filled, open plan studio space. Located to the rear of the building this space benefits from the more desirable aspect. This space was also granted greater acoustic separation from Aerodrome Road by locating the front of house areas to the street side, behind an acoustically attenuated wall.

As the form of the new building is essentially a box it was decided to adopt a somewhat minimalist approach to the external treatment. In doing so we sought to combat the vast array of signage, which dominates the road with a building which stands out as a result of its simplicity.
